Argentina Trip 2010

By Paul

LifeConnection is partnering with Centro Crecer church in Córdoba, Argentina.  Led by Sam and Carita Masters, Centro Crecer is dedicated to personal discipling relationships, planting churches and working with other churches to spread the gospel of Jesus.  This is not simply a partnership with the goal of “us going to help them,” but rather an exciting opportunity to work together to help each other spread the gospel to those who desperately need it around the world.

This summer, we will be sending a team to Córdoba to work with Centro Crecer.  While there, we will be spending time in and with the community to spread God’s word.   Some projects we will be working on are…

  • Traveling to the town of La Riconada to visit a church plant.  While there, we will get to see, very practically, how Centro Crecer is working to start churches to reach areas that have none.
  • Reaching out to the students of Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.  UNC is the oldest university in Argentina, and is a demographic that Centro Crecer is actively working to reach.
  • Construction of Centro Crecer’s new youth building.
  • Creating and leading English as a Second Language classes.
  • Working with the members of Centro Crecer to celebrate Día del Niño (Children’s Day).  Día     del Niño is an international holiday celebrating and promoting the welfare of the world’s children.
Trip Dates: July 22-August 2
If you are interested in going, please attend one of two informational meetings we will be holding, February 18th and 21st.
