Celebrating 2 Years!

By jason

The writer of Hebrews says: And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

One way you can help to “stir up one another to love and good works” is by taking a few moments to email us what God has done in your life during the last year through LifeConnection.

It doesn’t have to be your life story, just a couple of sentences celebrating how God has been at work in your life this past year.

Some of these will be shared via video (without your name attached) and on the blog as a way to celebrate God’s goodness toward us this past year and to encourage one another by God’s faithfulness in our lives.

So take a minute, think about this past year, and then EMAIL US a few sentences.  It’s really that simple.

From the very first moment at LifeCo, I loved the music, the atmosphere, the young people, and the bold delivery of the truth of the Gospel. Yet I felt that my older age would prevent me from really connecting with anyone, and doubted that this young church would “get” my struggles. I had isolated myself from developing relationships with other women for over 12 years, because of trust issues, judgment, and rejection; the walls were high. But the women at LifeCo have been relentless in pursuing me as their friend, keeping me accountable, and giving me the freedom to be vulnerable again, and all with unconditional love and honesty. I have now experienced a grace from the body of Christ that I have never known before; those walls that I have used to protect myself but have actually kept me alone and hurting, are crumbling around me. This freedom has allowed God’s incredible grace, mercy, and passion to be rekindled in my heart and I am breathing again… Thank you friends. I love you all so much…
