Prayer @ LifeConnection

By Bailey

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:13-16

Please remember the following in prayer this week as LifeConnection prays for the world, the city of Independence, and those in the church.

  1. Argentina Trip: Please remember the team going to Argentina at the end of July. Continue to pray that God would provide the remainder of the finances needed to make this trip happen. Pray that God would prepare the hearts of our team for ministry. Pray also for those people in Argentina that will hear the gospel, that they’d come to faith in Christ.
  2. Independence: Please pray for God to continue to work in the hearts of men, women, and children in the city. Ask him to draw people to Himself that they may see Jesus for who he truly is. Pray for LifeConnection to share & embody the gospel in our city.
  3. Chris Seay: “Please pray for my upcoming wedding, finances, wisdom, and growth through it all.”
  4. Mike Corkill: “Please pray that I do better in school and for growth in my relationship with Christ.”
