A Clear Vision of God’s Goodness
Many Christians struggle with confidence in prayer, wondering if God truly hears and cares about their specific needs. Jesus addresses this by teaching us to ask, seek, and knock persistently, using the illustration of earthly fathers who give good gifts to their children. If imperfect human fathers delight in blessing their children, how much more does our perfect heavenly Father want to give good things to His children? The cross of Jesus serves as the ultimate proof of God’s goodness and love. Prayer isn’t about informing God of our needs but learning to live in loving dependence upon a Father who delights to help His children walk the narrow path of discipleship.
