We’re glad you’re checking things out! We know that stepping through the front doors of a new church can be intimidating. Here are a few answers to common questions about what happens at LifeConnection Church on any given Sunday morning so you can know what to expect.
What kind of people are at your church?
You’ll find a group of people seeking to know and love God, connect with others through community, and serve the city. Some of us are exploring faith in Jesus for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives. Bottom line: Everyone is welcome at LifeConnection Church.
What if going to church is new for me?
It’s ok if you don’t have it all figured out because we’re all growing. LifeConnection Church aims to be a welcoming and comfortable place for anyone curious about God.
What are the worship gatherings like?
Our desire is that no matter where you find yourself spiritually, you’ll encounter Christ in a way that makes sense. We teach from the Bible, pray, and sing. We try to keep it simple and not take ourselves too seriously because the point is to worship God.
What does the pastor talk about?
The teaching at LifeConnection Church is from the Bible and practical in nature. God wants to be involved in our everyday lives, so we present the truths of the Bible in ways that can be understood, even if you’ve never been to church.
LOVE GOD. CONNECT THROUGH COMMUNITY. SERVE THE CITY.
How should I dress?
You’re welcome to wear whatever you’d like. We’re a little more on the casual side, but there is no dress code. Just be you.
How do I get there?
LifeConnection meets just off of I-70 every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM. Our address is 3883 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Independence, MO 64052. Feel free to park and enter at the front parking lot by the flagpole or in the lower parking lot by the office.
What about my kids?
There is a kid-friendly and safe environment for children birth to 5th grade during both Sunday morning services called KidsCo. Come a few minutes early to check your kids into their class and receive their unique safety sticker. We take your child’s safety seriously while also helping them have fun and learn to treasure Christ.
Middle School and High School students have environments at 10:30 AM just for them outside of Sunday morning services.
