Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Teaching our children about God is a divine command central to our faith, not just a suggestion. We’re called to teach them to love God with their entire being—heart, soul, and might—as emphasized in the Shema and reaffirmed by Jesus. This teaching happens in everyday moments: at home, during walks, at bedtime, and when rising. While parents have the primary responsibility, the entire church community plays a vital role in supporting children’s spiritual growth. By intentionally creating opportunities for spiritual conversations and being ready to share our testimonies, we fulfill God’s plan for faith to flourish across generations.
